About Kathryn White
Kathryn White lives in Johannesburg. She is 32 years old and is the author of “Emily Green and Me”, published in 2007, “Things I Thought I Knew”, published in 2011, and “Anna Peters’ Year of Cooking Dangerously” published in 2015. She works as a freelance copywriter in the ad industry and occasionally as a journalist.
She is passionate about food (she started and co-ran the highly successful pop-up restaurant The Mess and does food and wine reviews), travel, horseriding, reading and – obviously – writing.
Her books tackle issues about living in contemporary South Africa, but mostly she writes stories about love lost and won and the families that make up our lives.
